Happy Holidays from the AI Mavens (and OfficeMax)!!!

Fellow Maven Jordan Rossman won Mr. BU representing CAS with his Mrs. Brynn Taylor. We’re not sure exactly what did it- his beard or mad gangsta rhymes. But we’re proud of his accomplishment and glad he did so well.

Props to Programming Council for putting on yet another awesome event!

If you see these girls around campus make sure to congratulate them. You may need them one day if you and your roommate have a problem that needs mediating.

Mavens in the Morning

“Mavens in the Morning” (MIM) is a TV show run by the Mavens from our office where student groups can feel free to advertise and promote their events. Mavens will simultaneously help student groups and further brand the Maven presence on campus. Our goal is to inform the student body of ongoing events and opportunities for further BU involvement and to help the BU community become better acquinted with Pro-staff and faculty on campus. Through participation in this project, students gain experience in film, advertising/pr, time management and other various life skills.

How it got started:  One of our employees, Chelsea Merget, was inspired at summer training when employees started to learn about the emphasis Mavens are starting to put on social networking and media. She thought this was one vehicle of communication we hadn’t utilized yet and it would be fun to get to know the Mavens a little better. People would become more familiar with our office, etc.

When to expect it: Mavens in the Morning debuted last night at the SAO monthly meeting  and will go viral soon on youtube. Naturally, Mavens will tweet, fb, and tumble all the action as well.

Support BU Athletics!

Who says Maven’s can’t dance?

The Mavens check out the Moonlight Ball on September 24 in Metcalf. Thank the Boston Univerisity Asian Society for making such a great event!

See the full album including Red Sox Nation at Bu Central.

Mavens on Bike Patrol!?

You knew we provide escort walks from 8pm- 2:30am but did you know that we now have the option to ride in style? These sweet bikes are equipped with helmets, locks, reflectors and even a little bell. Jealous much?
